Watch out for PRA disease
PRA disease can compromise your pet dog's vision, and there is currently no known treatment. Your pet will begin to lose vision in low light, and as the rods in his or her eyes degenerate further as PRA disease progresses, he or she will begin to lose sight in well lighted areas as well. Your vet can confirm or deny that your pet has Pra disease, so if you notice your dog shying away from the dark, you may want to take him or her in for a checkup.
